Course Objectives

On completion of programme participants should be able to:

• Design youth empowerment programmes
• Identify areas that are critical for youth development as agency for community development
• Come up with business plans for youth developing projects
• Understand modes of HIV transmission.
• Understand the role and importance of HIV testing and counselling
• Develop a foundation of understanding of HIV prevention and interventions
• Suggest policy intervention measures targeted at developing leadership skills for youths
